Privacy Policy
Today's Recipe (the “App”) respects your privacy and handles information as described below.
1. Information we handle
- Your requests to the AI, recipe-generation criteria, and preferences you choose to save
- Device identifiers, usage, and diagnostic information collected by Google Mobile Ads SDK in connection with ads
- Your in-app purchase status (Apple processes payments; the App does not collect credit card information)
Saved recipes, chat history, cooking logs, and food photos are generally stored on your device. Food photos are not sent to the AI.
2. How we use information
- To provide AI recipe suggestions and chat
- To deliver and measure ads and help prevent misuse
- To verify purchases and provide premium features
- To address issues and improve the service
3. Third-party services
The App uses Firebase and the OpenAI API for AI features, Google AdMob for advertising, and Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases. These providers handle information under their respective privacy policies.
4. Advertising and consent
Before using the advertising identifier, the App requests permission through App Tracking Transparency. You can use the core features if you decline; Google Mobile Ads SDK will not send IDFA with ad requests. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings. Where required by law or platform rules, the App also displays an advertising consent form.
5. Deleting your data
Recipes, chat history, cooking logs, and photos stored on your device can be deleted in the App or by deleting the App. For questions about information sent for AI processing, contact us below.
6. Children
The App is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children without parental consent.
7. Changes
We may revise this policy when features or laws change. We will announce significant changes on this page or through the App.
